PRIVACY POLICY & GDPR

Data collected

For booking, stay and legal obligations purposes, the following data may be collected for the main traveler and for each occupant:

  • first and last name
  • mailing address
  • e-mail address
  • phone number
  • genre
  • Nationality
  • total number of travelers
  • adult/child distribution
  • copy of a valid identity document
  • Payment data (processed exclusively by a secure provider)
  • data from detection devices installed in the dwelling (noise, smoke, temperature, device status)
  • browsing data (cookies, IP address)

RUBY INVEST does not store any banking data.


Purposes of the processing

The data is collected exclusively for:

  • reservation management and validation
  • housing access management
  • the signing and execution of the lease agreement
  • compliance with the legal and regulatory obligations applicable to hosting providers
  • the prevention of fraud, damage and breaches of housing regulations

No commercial prospecting or newsletters are carried out.


Service providers and subcontractors

The data may be processed by the following service providers, acting as data processors within the meaning of the GDPR:

  • Smoobu (booking platform)
  • Stripe (secure payment)
  • Charge Automation (pre-check-in, security deposit, identity document verification and management)
  • MINUT (noise, smoke and temperature detection device)

Shelf life

  • Customer data related to bookings: 3 years
  • Accounting data: 10 years
  • Identity documents: collected, stored and deleted by Charge Automation after the stay, unless otherwise required by law


Cookies

The site uses:

  • cookies strictly necessary for its operation
  • audience measurement cookies (Google Analytics)

No marketing or advertising cookies are used. A banner allows consent management in accordance with regulations.


Rights of individuals

In accordance with the GDPR, everyone has the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and object to the processing of their personal data. All requests can be sent to: bastian@lapauseremoise.com. A complaint can also be lodged with the CNIL (French Data Protection Authority).
